Compassionate Communication Between Adult Children and Aging Parents

  • Carmichael Library 5605 Marconi Avenue Carmichael, CA, 95608 United States (map)

Some of the hardest and most vital conversations we will ever have are with our aging parents when we discuss their wishes, hopes and desires for the future. Do they want to remain at home or live in a retirement or assisted living facility? Is a family member in a position to provide in-home care if needed? Are the family’s financial resources sufficient to cover their desires? These conversations can be emotionally charged, but involve topics that should be addressed to ensure smooth decision-making about the future.

Join us as Ginger McMurchie, Certified Care Manager and Owner of Elder Care Management of Northern California guides you through these very difficult conversations and provides support in your next steps.

To reserve your seat, please call Del Oro at (916) 728-9333. If you need someone to care for your loved one so that you may attend, free in-home care may be available. Please indicate your need for care upon registering.
