Are you a Caregiver?

Do you currently provide unpaid help to an adult friend or family member who has a chronic condition or disability?

Does your friend or family member have a cognitive impairment?

Does your friend or family member need help with two or more activities of daily living (ADLs)?

We are here to help.

Founded in 1987, Del Oro is part of a statewide system of caregiver resource centers (CRCs) and serves unpaid family caregivers in California’s Gold Country Counties—Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba.

Del Oro offers FREE educational opportunities open to the public in this 13-county region and a suite of FREE services to eligible clients. In order to establish eligibility, a caregiver must be supporting (1) a senior with limitations in two more activities of daily living or (2) someone who has an adult-onset cognitive impairment (such as dementia).

I can’t say enough good things about the Del Oro Association and staff. I am so fortunate to have connected 6 years ago. I am forever grateful for the emotional support and the guidance to resources that Del Oro has provided me on this journey.
